Are you looking for Packaging Paper / Wrap suppliers? If so, take a look below for some valuable information that may help you in your search.

Packaging Paper

Packing paper is a cost-effective alternative to other types of packaging materials (foam peanuts, bubble wrap, airbags, and foam). It has two main functions: wrapping boxes and protecting the contents inside. Packaging paper is made from any combination of virgin or recovered fibers and comes in bleached or unbleached varieties. It also may be subject to various finishing and/or marking processes. Please see www.Gift-Packaging-Guide.com if you are looking for gift wrapping paper, gift bags, and supplies.

Packing Paper Types

The most common type of packing paper are kraft paper, tissue paper, newsprint, and corrugated paper. Below is a description of each.

Kraft Packaging Paper

Kraft packaging paper is brown in color and is normally sold in 10# - 60# rolls. Its primary use is for wrapping the outside of boxes for shipping. Kraft paper can also be crumpled and used to fill the void in boxes.

Tissue Paper

Tissue paper is normally used for packing breakables as well as for void fill. 10# is commonly used for gift packing and 10# - 20# tissue paper is used for packing and moving.

Newsprint

Unprinted newsprint is an economical packaging material for wrapping light items and filling the void in boxes. You can purchase it as sheets or shredded newsprint. Newsprint paper provides a clean and easy packaging solution.

Corrugated Packaging

Corrugated paper is another common packaging type. Corrugated packaging works well to protect breakable and fragile items against breaks, chips, and scratches. The raised fluting of the corrugated paper provides cushioning and strength. Corrugated packaging is flexible and works well for wrapping many different items.
